NBAA-BACE 2026 lines up full OEM slate and expanded programme in Las Vegas

NBAA-BACE 2026 opens in Las Vegas on 20 October. The National Business Aviation Association's flagship convention runs 20 to 22 October at the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall. The static display of aircraft sits at Henderson Executive Airport on 20 and 21 October. Aviation International News editor Kerry Lynch previewed the shape of the show on 3 September 2026.

The static display carries more than 80 business aircraft. Confirmed exhibitors on the ramp include Aviat, Boeing Business Jets, Bombardier, Cirrus Aircraft, Daher, Dassault, Epic, Gulfstream Aerospace, Honda Aircraft, Piaggio Aero, Pilatus, Piper, Robinson Helicopter, SyberJet and Textron Aviation. That covers every current large-cabin, super-mid and light-jet OEM an owner buys from. NBAA is targeting more than 20,000 attendees and more than 1,000 exhibitors across the three days.

The programme is running 12 education tracks this year, spanning flight operations, maintenance, leadership, safety and emerging technology. Attendees build a personal schedule against role and function. The Professional Development Program and NBAA's dedicated safety events sit alongside the tracks. NBAA-BACE is the year's largest set-piece for owners tracking new platforms, cabin upgrades and MRO capacity. Product news is typically held for the show. Textron Aviation used NBAA-BACE 2025 to introduce the Cessna Citation M2 Gen3, CJ3 Gen3 and CJ4 Gen3. Bombardier displayed the Global 8000 at the 2025 static ahead of its December 2025 certification. Gulfstream displayed the G800 in the year of its April 2025 certification. Thrive Aviation and Honda's Arulean Air subsidiary have already flagged the 20 October show as the venue for full commercial detail on the fractional programme announced on 2 September 2026.

Registration for owners, operators and flight departments is open on nbaabace.org. The show floor plan and static list update through September. NBAA Aircraft Connection, the static, is a separate registration under the main pass.

FAI Technik joins Starlink aviation dealer network at Nuremberg

FAI Technik has been appointed an authorised SpaceX Starlink dealer and installer. The EASA Part-145 organisation, part of FAI Aviation Group, is based at Albrecht Dürer Airport Nuremberg. FAI equipped its first aircraft, a Bombardier Global Express XRS, with Starlink in June 2026. Further installations across the group fleet are scheduled, and the service is also open to third-party owners and operators. Starlink joins an existing Nuremberg connectivity roster of Gogo Galileo, Honeywell Ka-Band and Collins Ku-Band. Michael Axtmann, managing director of FAI Technik, framed the appointment as an expansion of the group's modification and connectivity capabilities as demand for high-speed cabin internet in business aviation continues to grow.

Modesto Jet Center adds 26,510 sq ft corporate hangar at KMOD

Modesto Jet Center has bought a 26,510 sq ft corporate hangar at KMOD. The insulated facility was previously the home of a corporate flight department. Door height is 26 feet, cleared to shelter large-cabin aircraft up to the Gulfstream G650. The acquisition takes the operator's total hangar footprint at Modesto City-County Airport past 100,000 sq ft. Executive offices, upstairs storage, two bathrooms with showers, gated vehicle access and dedicated parking come with the building. The hangar will be marketed to corporate flight departments, owners, management companies and other operators looking for a Northern California base. Financial terms were not disclosed.
