Falcon order intake nearly tripled in the first half of 2026. Dassault Aviation booked 23 Falcon orders in the six months to 30 June. The comparable H1 2025 figure was eight. Deliveries came in at 13 airframes. Chairman and chief executive Éric Trappier presented the numbers on 22 July 2026.
That delivery figure was 12 a year earlier. The Falcon backlog stood at 83 aircraft on 30 June 2026. Group backlog closed the half at €45.4 billion. Rafale accounts for 208 of the 291 airframes in the total. Trappier cited renewed Asian interest in the Falcon range.
Group net sales climbed 46 per cent to €4.16 billion. Adjusted operating income rose 83 per cent to €330 million. Group order intake in euros was €2.88 billion. That figure was down from €8.08 billion in H1 2025. The prior comparable had been lifted by a major Rafale export contract announced that half.
Trappier confirmed Falcon 10X entry into service is now scheduled for 2029. The previous public target had been 2027. The ultra-long-range flagship completed its maiden flight from Bordeaux-Mérignac on 19 June 2026. A second test aircraft is nearing completion. A third is being fitted with a full cabin for systems and cabin function testing.
Trappier attributed the shift in the production trajectory to supplier constraints. He cited aerostructure shortages as a persistent factor across the Falcon lines. For prospective Falcon buyers, orders outpaced deliveries by ten airframes over the six months. The backlog therefore added net aircraft rather than draining.
