Archived side-by-side comparison from the Freestream library
This comparison covers three long-range trijet and twin-engine platforms from Dassault and Gulfstream: the Falcon 900LX, the Falcon 7X, and the G550. All three are certified to 51,000 ft and offer intercontinental range exceeding 4,500 nautical miles. The 900LX and 7X are trijet designs; the G550 is a conventional twin. The 7X entered service in 2007 and production closed in 2023; the G550 ran from 2002 to 2020. The 900LX remains in current production.
Freestream has prepared this comparison drawing on Conklin & de Decker data pulled 27 May 2026. Operating cost figures are available for the Falcon 7X and G550; the 900LX cost data was not unlocked under the Freestream subscription at the time of publication and is shown as available on request throughout this archive entry.
