This comparison covers four large-cabin business jets that competed in the same segment during their respective production periods. The Bombardier Challenger 605 and Gulfstream G200 represent North American manufacturers, whilst the Dassault Falcon 2000EX and Falcon 2000LX represent successive variants of the same French trijet-derived platform adapted to twin-engine configuration.

The Falcon 2000EX is a twin-engine variant of the Dassault Falcon 2000 family, produced in limited numbers from 2003 to 2004 as a transitional model before the EASy-equipped successors. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW308C engines, it reached a maximum cruise speed of 482 knots and carried up to ten passengers over 3,878 nautical miles seats-full. The Falcon 2000LX is the extended-range variant of the Falcon 2000 family, distinguished by winglets and an additional fuel tank that increase seats-full range to 3,891 nautical miles. Powered by the same Pratt & Whitney Canada PW308C engines as the EX variant and featuring the Honeywell Primus Epic EASy flight deck, it carries up to ten passengers in a cabin identical in dimensions to the 2000EX at 31.2 feet in length. The Gulfstream G200, originally certificated as the Galaxy by Israeli Aerospace Industries, entered service in 1997 and was produced through 2011 with 250 aircraft built. Powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada PW306A engines and equipped with Rockwell Collins Pro Line 4 avionics, it carried up to eight passengers to 3,130 nautical miles at a maximum cruise speed of 470 knots. The G200 offered a wider cross-section than its Cessna counterparts with a 7.2-foot cabin width.
